The Introduction of my Technology Entrepreneurship Subject


Learning new things, new skill, new subjects in a new world status can be one of the most satisfying things you can do to grow and explore. Learning a new skill is not just an adventure decision, but it is also a smart way to widen our thoughts about things surrounds us. When you learn new things, meaning you're fulling something inside yours. In this journey of my Gee16 subject, hope will be be great. Starting it is a kind of miserable because of some sorts of losing internet connection but thanks to our instructor, she posted it in google classroom. 

Now, I'm talking about the Technology Entrepreneurship that were introduced by our instructor. It is the process of creating or seizing an opportunity and pursuing it regardless of the resources currently controlled. Meaning, it is just creating something out of nothing because entrepreneurship is very innovative or creative. 

Way back to our our entrepreneurship during Senior High school, I experienced selling things inside the campus. We sell buko and some sorts of street foods. Before, we decided to sell like because as a student we cannot go outside the campus to buy some street foods and it is not in our cafeteria( to the canteen rather). But this subject right now is not like in our entrepreneurship before. It is talking about Technology Entrepreneurship but it doesn't mean the online selling. 

Commonly, entrepreneurship refers to all businesses right? Including the small business even that is not registered. There are also big business like companies, such as facebook, twitter, google, apple and others. In our discussion, it was mentioned that facebook start as a Startup. And As what I have understand, startup is a disruption that is a proposed change in the order of things. It means that it needs a new way or a better way. Some example of disruptors are Grab, PayPal, Lazada, Google drive, and others that shows a new way, a new technology or service that is essential for businesses. 

I know having this subject has a lot of purpose. As everything that comes in our life will brought us an unexpected things or events. I believe that this journey in Technology Entrepreneurship, will let me be aware of and give me knowledge about the things that will be useful in the future generation in terms of businesses. It is just the start of my journey in this subject, and I am willing to explore more and be with it this first semester 2021.

Blog#3: Rejection Therapy and Empathy Map

      This past few weeks, we have done the activities which are the empathy map and rejection therapy in this Entrepreneurial Mind. Honestly, we felt stressed doing those activities. Especially the Social experiment which is the Rejection Therapy. We asked money to a stranger, so its really hard to do it in our own. At first, I got nervous of course, facing strangers to ask things that is answerable by no. But after all, it was fun. You have a lot of things to learn. As I know, same areas of our brain become activated when we experience rejection as when we experience physical pain. But happily, I am not rejected in asking money from a stranger because if I got rejected, I will surely feel ashamed of myself and even small rejections hurt more than we think.
