Blog #5: Team Presentation and Lecture Series

On the past few weeks, we have a lot of things to do but thankfully we still manage to do it. In this journey of Intrepreneural Mind is a very exciting and productive experience. I was very thankful that the requirements in this subject is by group in which we can share and ask for help in our groupmates if there is a problem in the output. This past few weeks we are busy preparing for our Team presentation in Business Model Canvas. We have updated and validated our BMC. Through the helps of other members and the sharing of ideas, opinions and knowledge, we have created a timetable and so on. In this previous weeks in our journey to the entrepreneurial mind, our team has learned that we were unrealistic when it came to our business plan and model.   Furthermore, It's important to work hard toward these goals, but first is to know that when starting a business, we should plan on everything taking twice as long and costing twice as much. In regards to our products we have realized th...

Blog#3: Rejection Therapy and Empathy Map

This past few weeks, we have done the activities which are the empathy map and rejection therapy in this Entrepreneurial Mind. Honestly, we felt stressed doing those activities. Especially the Social experiment which is the Rejection Therapy. We asked money to a stranger, so its really hard to do it in our own. At first, I got nervous of course, facing strangers to ask things that is answerable by no. But after all, it was fun. You have a lot of things to learn. As I know, same areas of our brain become activated when we experience rejection as when we experience physical pain. But happily, I am not rejected in asking money from a stranger because if I got rejected, I will surely feel ashamed of myself and even small rejections hurt more than we think. But there is one thing that we will realize doing that activity, as many of us experienced of being rejected in different ways, so we just look at rejection as a stepping stone. When you do, you realize that those dif...

Entrepreneurial mind seems to be a mode of thinking that allows you to overcome obstacles, make decisions, and take control of your results. It's necessary that you keep improving your abilities, learning from your failures, and putting your ideas into action. These past few days we are busy choosing a problem for our venture proposal as a part of this Entrepreneurial Journey.    We are exchanging a different ideas for our Venture Proposal. As a group, we need to team-up for us to have a good idea in making the task provided. Our first problem that we've submitted has been rejected and we need to come up with another idea. So as a team, we are going to continue for us to learn and explore more about this Entrepreneurial Mind. It is normal to be rejected as what we can reflect to the Great business man, Colonel Sandres, KFC. As we have learn in the discussion, he is very successful this time without knowing how hard he experienced before he commit that success. And as for the i...
